"Zoovies" at Lincoln Park Zoo
Zoovies, free outdoor movies at the Lincoln Park Zoo, are the perfect way to spend a Chicago summer evening. Lincoln Park Zoo is a great backdrop to enjoy the summer weather while getting the entertainment of a night at the movies.
The Lincoln Park Zoo has already had two Zoovie events this summer, which featured Raiders of the Lost Ark and Clueless.
Ironically enough, that last movie is the Ben Stiller comedy Zoolander, which will screen on August 13th
Zoolander will begin at dusk at the south lawn of the zoo. General seating will be in the grass and at the park place Café Patio. If you plan on sitting in the grass don’t forget to bring your own chair and blanket! There are some restrictions on how big your seating arrangements can be so make sure to check the website.
Admission is free, and concessions are available for purchase including snacks, beer, wine, and soft drinks. No outside beverages are permitted.
For those who want a more premium experience, a VIP package is available and includes some awesome amenities! VIP members get special parking, restrooms, and exclusive access to parts of the zoo as well as three beverages of their choice (wine , beer, water or soda.).
