The Best Places to Find Art Near Menlo Park

While many might consider Menlo Park, CA to be the hub for technology, it’s also home to a wide variety of eclectic art galleries. Palo Alto Art Center

Located just 10 minutes outside of Menlo Park, the Palo Alto Art Center is home to an extensive range of art classes, exhibits and events. The Center offers children’s art classes and summer camps on topics like animal painting and decoupage, while adult programs cover things like ceramics and printmaking. Cantor Arts Center at Stanford University

Situated in the heart of Stanford University’s art district, the Cantor Arts Center is a haven for unique art. More than 200,000 visitors flock to the Cantor Arts Center each year to peruse the space’s 38,000+ works of art which span across 5,000 years of history. While multiple outdoor sculpture gardens populate Stanford’s campus, inside Cantor Arts you’ll find 24 changing galleries. Permanent art inside the Center includes everything from traditional African pieces and contemporary art, to photographs and sketchbooks.


Allied Arts Guild

The Allied Arts Guild is a mecca for art studios and shops in Menlo Park. And as you stroll through the garden grounds of the Allied Arts Guild, you’ll understand why. Well-manicured paths lead to a variety of artist shops, each offering their own unique works for purchase. The Allied Arts Guild is open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. for guests to peruse the grounds and purchase food and drink from the on-site café. Special events are also hosted annually at the Guild, for holidays like Christmas and Mother’s Day.
