If you want to see some of the hottest artists of 2018, then Chicago’s Lollapalooza is the music festival for you! As always, the event is at Grant Park and this year it’s from August 2-5. At Lollapalooza, you have the chance to see over 170 bands, performing on 8 different stages. This year’s lineup includes artists like Bruno Mars, The Weeknd, Post Malone and Travis Scott- to name a few. Each day’s lineup can be found on the official Lollapalooza website. Tickets are already starting to sell out, but you can still purchase General Admission day passes online, starting at $120. VIP 1-day and 4-day passes are also available and include access to special lounges, better views, food, alcohol, spa treatments and a lot more.
Chicago Jazz Fest
The 40th annual Chicago Jazz Fest returns to the Windy City this Labor Day Weekend, August 30-September 3. Hosted in Millennium Park, this five day event features a variety of acclaimed Jazz musicians. Original artists will take the stage, along with many tribute bands. World Music Festival
Chicago’s 20th annual World Music Festival is yet another popular summer music festival in the city. This festival is a little longer than the others, spanning from September 7-23. World Music Festival is city-wide with over 650 artists performing in a variety of venues. As the World Music Festival, it’s no surprise that the fest’s bands represent over 80 countries. The best part? Like Chicago Jazz Fest, World Music Fest is free to attend!
