Experience Art Like Never Before with How I See It: A Sensory Touch Exhibit in Santa Barbara

How I See it Art Exhibit

NO TOUCHING–It’s a message you’ve probably seen at every art museum you’ve ever been to. But what if you went to a gallery where you were not only allowed to touch the art, you were encouraged to? That’s exactly how a new exhibition in Santa Barbara works. “How I See It” at Santa Barbara’s Art Fund Gallery is based entirely on the sense of touch.

“How I See It,” a sensory touch exhibition includes a collection of 3-dimensional works from local artists that are best experienced by using your hands. The aim of “How I See It” is to provide a great art experience for the visually impaired, but even fully sighted people can get a lot out of this unique show. The exhibition is held at the Arts Fund Gallery in Santa Barbara’s notable Funk Zone Wednesday through Sunday from 12–5pm until September 5, 2015.
