Acclaimed Humorist David Sedaris comes to Long Beach
When he started keeping a diary in 1977 David Sedaris had no idea that it would become his ticket to stardom. It was while reading from that diary years later on a Chicago radio station that NPR host Ira Glass first discovered Sedaris. That’s when everything changed, as Sedaris put it “Like someone waved a magic wand.”
Today David Sedaris is a New York Times Best Selling Author, radio talent and contributor to the New Yorker. His lectures draw major crowds at universities and convention centers around the country.
