Celebrate National Seafood Month at the 2nd Annual OFF THE HOOK Seafood Festival on the iconic Santa Monica Pier! Located less than 1-mile from the pier, Broughton’s boutique Georgian Hotel is the perfect place to stay for the weekend of October 1st.

 

About the 2nd Annual OFF THE HOOK Seafood Festival

On Saturday, October 1st, the Santa Monica Pier will transform into a seafood paradise to kick-off National Seafood Month and help raise money for the Westside Food Bank– an independent, non-profit corporation founded in 1981 to help provide food to social service agencies on the Westside of Los Angeles County. The 2nd Annual OFF THE HOOK Seafood Festival will highlight Santa Monica’s unrivaled seafood offerings and help raise awareness for the sustainable seafood movement by educating consumers about the benefits of eating seafood through a partnership with Seafood for the Future.

 

“Seafood Sessions” educational pavilion will feature special talks and demos including an Oyster Shucking Competition, Fishing on the Santa Monica Pier and much more! Enjoy seafood tastings and curated cocktails from the 2016 participating restaurants:

 

Tickets to the 2nd Annual OFF THE HOOK Seafood Festival are available online now in the following options:

  • Little Fish (GA): $60- includes seafood tastings and drinks (beer, wine, champagne tastings and coffee) and access to main stage with live music, educational pavilion and more
  • Big Fish (VIP): $90- Santa Monica Seafood Sustainable VIP Lounge includes seafood tastings from select restaurants, curated cocktail, preferred seating, as well as access to main stage with live music, the educational pavilion and food stations

 

All ticketed guests must be 21 years or older with a valid government-issued ID. Due to the high volume of people attending, carpooling, biking or taking the Santa Monica Free Ride to the festival is recommended. If you must drive, parking is available for $12 in the 2 lots below the pier- accessible via Appian Way from the Pacific Coast Highway. The event will take place rain or shine, so dress accordingly!
