2017 Edgewater Edgefest in Chicago

Sausages Cooking On Grill. Street Food Market VendorCelebrate all things North Side at this weekend full of live music, vendors, and food! On Saturday, August 5 and Sunday, August 6 the historic Edgewater neighborhood will be transformed into Edge Fest. Now in its fifth year, Edge Fest is keeping things fresh with an all-new lineup.

Live Entertainment

With two stages jam packed full of live music starting at 11AM on Saturday and noon on Sunday, you’ll want to stay at Edge Fest all day! On Saturday, the South Stage begins with Pet Parade at 11AM and will run until The Boy Band Night plays at 8PM. The North Stage lineup for Saturday is just as great. Nate Mitchell starts off at 12:30pm and the fun doesn’t stop until Rod Tuffcurls & The Bench Press close out the day at 8PM.

Sunday’s entertainment for the South Stage begins at noon with Hot Downstairs and doesn’t end until 7PM with 7th Heaven. The North Stage gets its Sunday debut with Thomas Comerford at 1PM with 16 Candles to close out the show at 7PM.

With 28 performances scheduled for the weekend, you’ll want to have a game plan. Check out the full lineup to make sure you don’t miss your favorite band!

Food and Fun

Local flavors are the centerpiece of Edge Fest. From the music to the food, highlighting the North Side is the name of the game. Genoa’s Italian Concessions, Main Street Grill, Tina’s Italian Ice, Chris & Gary’s and many other local restaurants will be serving up their specialties all day. Even though it’s always hot in August, you can keep cool at Edgefest at the beer tent!

Festivals and shopping go hand in hand like ice cream and summer time. Edgefest 2017 will feature handmade, artisan products from local and regional artists and organizations. Handmade soaps, craft watches, hand-worked leather products and dozens more can be found in the festival marketplace this year.
